Warranty Policy
Last updated: May 2025 · Applies to all used OEM parts sold by ReclaimParts
All used OEM parts sold by ReclaimParts are pre-owned and sourced from US salvage yards. Where warranty coverage applies, it is limited as described below. Warranty coverage begins on the confirmed delivery date and requires prior authorisation before any return is made.
Prior authorisation required. Before returning any part under warranty, you must contact us at support@reclaimparts.com to receive a Return Authorisation (RA) number. Parts returned without authorisation will not be accepted.

What the Warranty Covers
Where warranty coverage applies, ReclaimParts will provide a replacement part or a full refund (at our discretion) if:
- The part fails to function as expected during normal use within the warranty period
- The part is found to have a pre-existing defect not disclosed in the listing
- The part is confirmed non-functional at the time of installation by a qualified mechanic
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The following are excluded from warranty coverage regardless of part category:
- Damage caused during customer installation, removal, or handling
- Parts that have been modified, machined, or altered after delivery
- Electrical parts showing signs of improper wiring or voltage damage
- Normal wear, cosmetic imperfections, or surface oxidation consistent with the part's age
- Parts ordered for an incorrect vehicle fitment — it is the buyer's responsibility to verify compatibility before ordering
- Labour, diagnostic, or towing costs associated with the part
- Consequential or incidental damages of any kind
- Parts in categories not listed in the coverage table above
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Contact us within the warranty period
Email support@reclaimparts.com with your order number, the part category, and a description of the issue. Claims submitted after the warranty period has expired will not be accepted.
Provide supporting documentation
We may ask for photos or video of the fault, a mechanic's written assessment, or other evidence to support the claim. This helps us resolve your claim quickly.
Receive your Return Authorisation
Once approved, we will issue a Return Authorisation (RA) number and a prepaid return shipping label. Do not ship the part until you have received these.
Replacement or refund issued
After we receive and inspect the returned part, we will ship a replacement or issue a full refund within 3–5 business days. No restocking fee applies to valid warranty claims.
