Refund & Return Policy

Return Window
We accept returns within 15 days of confirmed delivery. The return window begins on the date your tracking shows delivered, not the date you received or opened the package.
Return authorisation is required before shipping any item back. Packages returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted and cannot be refunded. Contact us first at support@reclaimparts.com.
What Can and Cannot Be Returned
✓ Eligible for Return
- Part received is defective or non-functional
- Wrong part sent (our error)
- Part does not match the listing description
- Change of mind within 15-day window (restocking fee applies)
✗ Not Eligible for Return
- Return requested after 15 days of delivery
- Part has been installed or modified
- Damage caused during customer installation
- Electrical parts showing signs of improper wiring
- Parts ordered without verifying fitment compatibility
Restocking Fee
A 25% restocking fee applies to all change-of-mind returns — where the part is in original condition but the return reason is not a defect or error on our part.
No restocking fee is charged on returns for defective parts, incorrect parts sent, or parts that do not match the listing description. These are refunded in full.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to an error on our part (wrong part shipped, defective item).
If the return is our error, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label via email.
How to Return an Item
Contact us for authorisation
Email support@reclaimparts.com with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship anything until you receive a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
Pack and ship the item
Package the part securely to prevent transit damage. Write your RA number clearly on the outside of the box and ship to the address provided in the authorisation email.
Inspection and refund
Once we receive the item, our team inspects it within 1–2 business days. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days of inspection to your original payment method.
Refund Method
All refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. We do not issue refunds via cheque, gift card, or alternative payment methods. Depending on your bank, refunds may take an additional 2–5 business days to appear in your account after processing.
